If they are to successfully lead us into this new century, we must help them reach their true potential as strong leaders, productive workers, and informed voters. We must provide them with the best possible education. A well-educated workforce results in economic growth and community vitality. It is this workforce that encourages the creation of jobs and improves the quality of life for all of our citizens.

How can you get involved? Community Wide Education Involvement comes in may forms. Possibly you could go into the school in your area and read to the children, run copies for teachers, or act as a tutor for some struggling children. All children love that one-on-one attention from sources outside of the home or educator arena. Get involved in your school PTO or help with fundraisers.
Your business might be interested in a new Foundation Program, Partners In Education or in becoming a Member of the Monroe County Education Foundation.We'd love to have you as a Family or Individual Member of the Foundation. Please see the Membership page to learn more about these options!
