MCEF Makes donation to BEST Robotics Team.

In order to better connect with our students and keep them informed on how they can get involved in the MCEF.

On Wednesday and Thursday of the first week of school, the Monroe County Education Foundation (through a grant from Alabama River Cellulose/GP) hosted the Choice Bus. 

Mrs. Ryals retires and MCBOE interviewed and hired new Superintendent.

Each quarter, the MCEF Executive Director publishes a Newsletter to update all Foundation Members of Foundation News.

Graduation Rates continue to be a concern of the Foundation.  Teen Pregnancy is a hindrance of graduation for some.  We encourage teens to learn more about waiting to become pregnant.

Each quarter, the Executive Director puts together a Newsletter to update on the activities of the Monroe County Education Foundation.

On April 29, 2011, MCEF will partner with MCBOE Transition Coordinator to host a Transition Conference for students moving from 8th to 9th grade.  This event is day-long and held at ASCC Campus.
